In a project titled Dimensions Between Lost and Found, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, highlighting the significance of mental well-being. The societal burden of conforming to an idealized image of perfection, and the need to have everything under control, can prove to be an overpowering force. The influence of external opinions and the impact of social media can act as impediments that restrict our potential. Succumbing to the expectations of others is a constraint that obstructs the path to discovering one's true identity.
I adapted Italo Calvino’s short novel, The Enchanted Garden, into a short film, using various media to express my interpretation of youth’s inevitable loss. The curiosity of childhood fades as adulthood's responsibilities and anxieties take over, symbolizing the end of idealized youth.
